Congratulations on the occasion on the occasion of Keith’s 68th Birthday.
Please accept my congratulations on this occasion and celebration to mark your 68th birthday. I’m sorry that I’m not here to give these greetings in person but it is with great regret as you have made outstanding contributions that have lead more than one generation with the clarity and depth of understanding in your analyses of the struggles of workers and oppressed peoples nationally and internationally. This goes back many years from when you were a teenager. Now, as co-founder of Friends of Socialist China which with the decline and collapse of the Soviet Union when China has become a beacon of hope for the global south and all progressive people in the struggle against imperialism and hegemonism , you Keith are playing another important role. This is clearly recognized by all those who have come here today to express their regard and esteem for you.
So let me share in drinking to your health and wish you a long life in your support for Socialist China and the struggle of all workers and oppressed peoples and nations against imperialist dictate.
