Thank you very much for your kind invitation and for thinking of Diane once again. I’m sorry to say that, unfortunately, she is unable to attend Keith’s birthday dinner this year due to prior commitments.

Diane asked me to pass on her warmest wishes to Keith on his birthday. She hopes he has a wonderful celebration surrounded by friends and comrades and wishes him every happiness and good health for the year ahead.
