On March 20 1985, 50 participants attended the first London seminar on the Juche Idea. In his keynote address, Keith Bennett said: “Today has been a historic occasion when the banner of the Juche Idea, the banner of the Age of Independence, has been raised in London, the heart of the old and dying word.”

“We are not only affected by China’s initiatives materially, but also in the realm of scientific socialist theory”, said the representative of the Institute’s Xi Jinping Thought Study Group in a speech to the Symposium on the occasion of China’s “Two Assemblies” held at the Chinese Embassy, London, on 20 March 2025.
