Comrade Ivor Kenna commemorated

Ivor Kenna was a lifelong communist, among the first to oppose the Khruschevite turn in the Communist Party of Great Britain, a founding member of the Society for Anglo-Chinese Understanding and an active member to the end of his life, a supporter of self-determination for the Celtic nations, and a long-time friend and comrade of the members of the Institute for Independence Studies and other socialist internationalist individuals and organisations.

The following is the text of the memorial speech delivered by Comrade Keith Bennett, at the request of his widow and life-long comrade Flo Kenna, to a gathering of Ivor’s family, comrades and friends to commemorate and celebrate his life, held in London after his private funeral, on July 1 2021.
