In a paper delivered to the Valdai Discussion Club, Institute Patron stated that the struggle against neo-colonialism is a central question of contemporary global politics, and can only be finally resolved through the creation of a truly multipolar world, with independence as its foundation and at its core. He concluded that, just as the Battle of Stalingrad marked the turning point in World War II, so also today, the multinational people of Russia stand on the frontlines of the struggle for civilization and against barbarism and there is no doubt that they will prevail.
